Chris Baldwick is co-opted on to the Committee as Chairman of the Sessan
            Cup Committee.

         8. Subscriptions for the year 2022 starting 1st April.
Statement on Subscriptions - Vice Chairman James Hoare
Your Committee have carefully considered the subscription levels for next
year, taking into account the most welcome increasing interest in the Class.
It is important that we maintain a professional interface with our members
and the broader yachting community, and this will mean some expenditure
on our website. In addition, there will be more boats to weigh and check
when our Technical Chairman and his helpers will incur some out of pocket
            expenses.
While the Association benefits from a healthy capital balance, your
Committee maintain that annual running expenses should be met from
            income, not capital.
Subs were last changed 2009, when they were raised £2 from the level set in
            2000.
The proposal is to simplify the subscription categories by removing the £5
discount for standing orders and the "family" category. The "Full Family"
membership remains. The headline rate is the same as this year.
Therefore there are just three rates proposed:
                   Full Family £30
                   Full £20
Associate; Youth; Overseas £15 (Youth membership up to 21
                   with a right to vote)
With approx. 150 standing orders, this could increase income by £750, but it
depends on how many heed the request to adjust their standing order.
It may be necessary to increase subs next year, depending upon our financial
            position then.
A member asked when Subscriptions are due:- The treasure replied the 1st
April, so notifications will need to be sent out quickly.
Ed Donald commented that it was important that the Association ran on
income and not capital and the rise in subs was long overdue.
