The Hadvaeker Cup is the first regatta of the season in Denmark, hosted by Jaegerspris Sailing Club, 4/5 May. Attracts the top Danish boats.
8 races, 1 discard. Wind variable F1-F6, E and S and everything in between! Negligible current. Excellent courses, with places being changed every leg to the finish line.
Saturday 4th May sea trials for Isobella FGBR 808 and new team (John Wulff helm, Ed mainsheet, Cameron Tweedle jibs/ tactics) coming together. Great BBQ after racing followed by supper and social.
Sunday went racing.
7th OA for the event, and but for a man overboard in the last race when in 1st place blowing F6, could have been 4th OA. We recovered to finish the race.
Great racing, great social, great fun!
Special thanks to the Danish fleet for making us feel so welcome.
Next stop RTIR, UK Nationals, Danish Nationals and Gold Cup.🙃
